Ghost car!

I finally managed to make the picture appear larger here! Thank you Ginger!

Actually it is this 'multi-exposure' feature on the camera which allows you to have several exposures without winding the film (as in non-digital cameras). Lower shutter speed was applied in the second exposure (with the car) while in the first one I only needed to record a background.
The point is you have to make sure the still subjects/elements over lap accurately; in this case, the lines on the ground and the trees etc; this obviously isn't the case when using a tripod. Over-exposure is also likely to happen which I had to consider.

Great effect, I have to say. Wed 6-Apr-2005 13:31

Recap after use.

Having to go to work during Norooz holidays is not that bad after all; you study, you tidy up... and there is still time to notice the unnoticed and take pictures, of course!

Good eye for detail Wed 30-Mar-2005 11:43

Whetever their attitude towards it, it's all so glorious; epic. I just watched in awed respect all the ceremony long...
And consequently missed lots of shots!

i totally agree...awe & respect are the least u experience! Mon 21-Feb-2005 22:27

It is a wonderful picture - youre right one can never get over the fact that so many thousand years later there are more and mor epeople observing the crusade of one faithful, God fearing family who fought for God and his Principals. Thank you. I miss seeing this when I am here. Thu 3-Mar-2005 02:41

You can spot 'eminem' written in red on the back of his collar (on the left) stylishly matching with the headband. You may also notice that the handle that the gentleman (on the right) is carrying has no chain. But nothing pretentious, not today.

this is like real wow mard!

I like the way the new generaion is now involved without trying to pretend that they have compromised on their lifestyle.
But what amazed me in a different way today, and has got nothing to do with this picture, was the way people queued up for a free meal in richer areas of our city whereas food/cocktail stations were literally left un-noticed in areas where a meal of Nayeb dish is a challenge for many; very interesting.
